Since UCONN squres up with ND, the Big East will have 11 teams make it to the NCAA Championship! 11 out of the 26 teams in the last 13 years!
The last SEC team to play in a final other than Tennessee was Georgia ...16 years ago!
Women's basketball was ruled by little schools in the 1980's, but Title IX changed that dramatically.
Now with the money of the major colleges ... no non-BCS program has made it ot the finals since La Tech in 1998.
