Simpsons Marathon FXX

I haven't watched in years but I was a diehard for many years. Tomorrow starting at 10 AM on FXX through Sept 1 they will be showing all 25 seasons. I've gone through and set up the DVR to catch some of my old favorites.

I've gotten into Family Guy and American dad now, but the Simpsons got it all started. Brilliantly written.

Yeah I haven't watched some of these episodes in years but they are as good as I remember them if not better. The quality of the writing really shines through and the early seasons episodes just have heart that later seasons (and other shows) lack.

Shout out to Sideshow Raheem who was cut from syndication runs of "I Love Lisa"...

I've watched it off an on now for 4-5 days... We're in 1997 now. I suspect I'm going to start seeing episodes I've never seen before around 2001 when my daughter was born. Very few shows make me really laugh... The Simpson's is one of them.
