I watched the National Gymnastics Championships this weekend. I thought Simone had retired but she is competing again. She won and appeared to me to be better than ever, she is just not human. IMO, she is the GOAT for women sports. hope she can stay at this level for the next Olympics!

Simone is pretty darn good. Setting records and doing great things.

She's showing remarkable longevity. I can't think of another gymnast competing for all-around medals at that age.

I had a friend who went to college on a gymnastics scholarship. I asked if she was really good. She replied, no, she just was still competitive beyond the age of 18, when most really good female gymnasts' bodies have broken down. Nevertheless, she spent a lot of time in PT for her back before the age of 30.
