Well having Smith playing his best basketball in the tourney helped with this for sure. That wasn't expected. Remember he had a couple big layups in the Championship game and really played a great first half when Demary got into foul trouble. Just more reason we need a good backup at PG this year as well as Center which we need a starter too now. This is pretty incredible. He definitely didn’t look 100%, but not nearly as bad as this injury would suggest. This is a 4-6 week injury.
I have no idea, but his Father posted a couple of times yesterday stating He didn't want Silas to leave and that Uconn was the best thing for him.Is there anything into the rumors that he entered the portal with planned visits to ASU and BYU with UConn still an option?
I really thought Silas was a very high return probability. This is the age of NIL tho ...

I live near ASU, ASU basketball is where careers go to die. This is a pro sports town first and foremost. Is there anything into the rumors that he entered the portal with planned visits to ASU and BYU with UConn still an option?

Yeah they do.Why wouldn't he get surgery? I don't think ligaments heal on their own.
The headline of this article makes no sense. His father tweeted that he doesn’t want to “go down that road again,” and the headline seems to completely misrepresent that. Here is the article.

And just because something is torn doesn’t mean it needs surgery.Yeah they do.
I agree. This should end any of talk there was online of him testing the draft process, he wouldn't even be 100% for workouts
Yeah there’s definitely a lot of fake stuff out there on social media, no doubt. But Koby Del Rosario is a legit college hoops journalist. I’m not saying the report is true or not, just sharing the article that @OceanDoggie was referring to.The headline of this article makes no sense. His father tweeted that he doesn’t want to “go down that road again,” and the headline seems to completely misrepresent that.
I’m still amazed by how many people fall for stupid headlines, fake accounts, and social media posts from nobodies, but maybe I shouldn’t be!
