[QUOTE="sdglast, post: 5246876, member: 9195"] I think all of these freshman would benefit from not starting. Much better for all of them to come off the bench, play 10-15 minutes at the start. They can be eased into major college basketball and not forced to play huge minutes early. Mullins looks like a perfect fit in this offense, as he seems to move exceptionally well off the ball and has an unbelievably quick release. I can see him playing nearly 20 minutes a night as the season goes on if he develops as we all think he will. Adams needs a lot more strength, but 10-12 minutes a night should fit him nicely. He just needs to back up at PG, defend, and play hard when he is in there. Riebe is another 10-15 minute a night guy early. He needs to get his conditioning up, but he brings an element of offensive basketball from the center position that we haven't had in awhile. He should be able to knock down that foul line jumper (with an occasional 3) and play face up to the basket forcing big men to come out and play him on the perimeter. Not comparing him at all to Clingan, but sort of the Clingan model year one while Sanogo was here--come in and give your all for like 15 minutes. Furphy is the wildcard, but again, if you have a PF here, he is another guy who can just come in for 10-12 minutes. Don't ask a lot out of him or any of these freshman early and see where it goes.
