Furman starts 2 6’11 players, one of which plays most of the time on the perimeter offensively. Do you really want Reibe or Reed trying to get around screens chasing their man around at the 3 point line?

Against a 6'11 guy? Absolutely. You ever tried to cover an outside shooter that is 3+ inches taller than you? He will just shoot right over you. You have to play someone long against him.

Have their opponents all matched up with twin bigs or just rolled over?

Furman's only games against an NCAA teams all year were aganst High Point and they lost by 26, Northern Iowa where they got beat badly, and to Troy and they lost there too. Not exactly murderers row.

One big shoots threes at 28%, the other doesn't shoot em.

This is not a team we should lose to.

I’ll be reasonably surprised if they see one second of game time on the court together. Like every other game this year.

Nothing like an armchair tough guy on an anonymous message board! You’re entitled to your uninformed opinions but that doesn’t make them any less dumb.
I have found that people that act like that on message boards have accomplished the least in life.

If Demary isn't fully ready to go on Sunday they could be toast against UCLA. That was not fun tonight.
I got to think he gets out there and they played it safe. Inject that thing if you have to for this one - need him against Dent. He'll have 5 days to rest after it. Let's not make them out to be something they aren't either. Good, nothing special team.

Wow Reed and wow solo for completely different reasons

If Ball and Mullins would have made some damn shots from outside the arc it would have been more fun for sure. All hands really need to be on deck for the next game and can rest after it is over.
Yeah they had a horribly shooting night and we still scored 80 points.

Tarris didn't have much trouble with the 6'11 guys. Would've had 40 and 30 if they knew how to get him the ball. Unreal all-time UConn performance.

Though Ross defense was excellent, especially in the 2nd half.
He seemed to struggle a bit with Wilkins (who was also hitting some wild shots) but really did a nice job of containing House in the second half. Really aggressive fighting over screens and contesting.

And would have had a nice oop if anyone on this team could throw a lob…
