That's 50% from the floor, 50% from the arc, and 87% from the foul line. They made more foul shots we took. Gotta clean that up.

If Bouknight is back that will help. Really, more than help. But he cannot solve all our problems. We need to get back to making opponents uncomfortable, rotating and closing out quicker and that would make a big difference. Even without Bouk today was a winnable game. SJU was a winnable game. Much of it will depend on picking up the defense and it needs to start Wednesday.
Speaking of which, just Akok's presence would help our defense. Hope to see him back sooner rather than later.

They made a lot of tough shots, shots as the shot clock was winding down and then a couple that were just ridiculous (e.g. Cale's flip over his shoulder as the shot clock was winding down). Yeah the defense wasn't great but sometimes you have to tip your hat to the other team. SH plays like that and they're winning a lot of games.

In all honesty, I don't think we can expect much out of Akok this season. Recovering from a terrible injury, he looks super rusty and hasn't had the in-game reps to get back in the swing of things. Just our luck that he is sidelined again with an injury. Given that we're in February already and is still technically not playable due to injury, it seems that this season is more of just a general recovery for him.

Yea - I’m just not super upset by this loss. The T was bad, and yes Hurley should have called a time out here or there, but Seton Hall played well and earned the win. Happens sometimes. More good came from it than bad.

I think if you were forced to take an L in exchange for Andre and Gaffney gaining confidence and emerging, most would take it knowing Bouk is coming back.
