I started watching Arrested Development yesterday on Netflix, and understand it has been such a success, they've agreed to produce another season.

I believe Southland was also cut by one network, and produced successfully on another.

Any others?

IIRC, JAG was cancelled by NBC and picked up by CBS where it went on for years. And Baywatch bombed out on NBC then went in to syndication successfully for a long time. For the record, Catherine Bell all day over Pamela Anderson.

Even worse for NBC is that JAG had its spin-off show, NCIS become hugely successful for CBS, even spawning its own spin-off, NCIS-LA. Not smart by NBC.

.-.
House was filmed by NBC but aired by Fox. They sold it to Fox because they already were saturated with medical dramas - ER.
