From where i was sitting I could see how ND was guarding her...they were holding her...and the refs refused to see it

Yes , and she did a whole lot more than make that particular shot - played about like she showed she could play for many years and thru ten games early here and then the last couple as well. A FORCE! Looks to me like she is starting to just play again, and not worry so much about the non-existent "perfect" this and "exactly" that at every moment.

Yup, although our seats weren't terrific, it looked like she was being held as was just about everyone else who was any sort of a threat wearing a UCONN jersey. Lewis often in a bear hug. And beyond being held, Faris, for one, was being mugged frequently. Amazing what the refs will ignore.....and call. (Not saying the outcome is bec of refs....just following up on that"holding" post....but will say, they certainly are part of the deterioration of the womens game in general.)

What three? 0 for 4 from three. Two rebounds in 37 minutes. She really needs to get tougher and smarter.

Got downgraded to a two after a video review...doesn't change the impact she had on this game. That was the national freshman of the year we know she is...great game Breanna...on to the tourney!

I wonder if the coaches are trying to get her away from her "guard instincts", that is, not to dribble the ball, but to work on her post moves (I would say actually that it looks pretty obvious to me). Last night it seemed that she shook off what she should be working on and started doing what came naturally, including taking the ball in the dribble from time to time....at that point, she relaxed and that's when Stewey came to life.

I told my sister - who missed the game..to watch it anyway just to see what Breanna did in the game because to me it was well worth watching
