I think this was Liya's best game of the season. Except for one momentary lapse, no one took the ball away from her.

Tremendous game for both. I want to concentrate on Aaliyah's performance especially. Man, if she is back for good, that is awesome. What a great game! She is such a battler underneath, and how about her shot? She hit a 3 that was as pure as any from Azzi, she hit a 15-footer inside the circle, again nothing but net, and along the baseline after receiving the pass (from Azzi?) she swishes the 10-footer. Plus, she received nicely Azzi's bounce pass from under the basket and banked in a difficult shot from inside the paint. And how about swishing her free throws? She has a very nice stroke and is playing confidently. She knows when to step outside to receive a pass to keep the offense going and dish it back to someone else.

The other thing that is impressive is how competitive she is. It's amazing how many times she battles and ends up on the floor, can't think of anyone else who comes close (maybe Nika?). Her defense is very nice too. She blocks shots, takes charges,

Great game by both, love what Aaliyah is doing, she is another vitally important piece of this developing juggernaut.

Aaliyah and Evina came up huge and were every bit as instrumental as Azzi's 7 of 9 from 3.

Aaliyah had by far her best game of the season.
Evina had her best performance since probably the UCLA game.

Their breakout performances could not have come at a better time. ¡Arriba y pa'lante!
