Say Nolan at the 5 and TO at the 4.

We were just getting killed by offensive rebounds. At one point it was 12-0 on second half points (we had the 0).

Not an always thing. Just a little switch up when we need to stop the bleeding.

I am surprised that we don't do this more. In Ollie's defense, we usually have 2-3 of our bigs in foul trouble which prevents him from using the big lineup.

I love Giffey, but the 4 just doesn't suit him very well. Daniels at least is an excellent shot blocker and a mismatch offensively against most 4's. He's just not strong enough to defend stronger guys in the post without fouling.

I'm not sure rebounding works that way. If you have one unathletic guy who's outjumped and outmuscled by most opponents, what's putting a second one in there going to help?

I'm thinking a 3 guard and 3 big lineup might work out...

It will be like turning the dial on the amp to "11". We'll get that extra little edge.

Our bigs lack experience that is Wolf and Nolan and are very foul prone so having them out there together could worsen that, it just leaves us more exposed for later down the stretch. In fact Olander picks them up pretty easily too. But of course we know this already, and if we had a stud down low we would be a top ten team.

Nolan is very athletic. Neither TO or Wolf are stiffs. In fact, Wolf moves pretty well for a big guy.

Besides, just having two space eaters would make a difference on our defensive board. As I said, this is not a whole game deal, just a few minutes here and there to keep the opponents offensive rebound numbers from getting out of hand.
