Our next scheduled game is 2/6 vs. Seton Hall. I believe if there are no positive tests a mid week game should be put in place. Only 9 scheduled games left with only 11 played. We need reps.

->Entering the weekend, the Big East has played 46 games out of the 110 on the schedule for the season.

Squeezing the remaining 64 games into the final five weeks of the regular season will be an enormous challenge, especially considering there will be more postponements ahead.

About a dozen games still need to be rescheduled.

"Some have tentative dates and some we are still working on," said John Paquette, Big East Senior Associate Commissioner, Sports Media Relations. "Realistically, we know it's going to be very difficult to get every game played."

Wright is willing to play as many as three games a week at times to try to get in as many as possible.

"That's the difficult question that we're all dealing with now in the Big East," Wright said. "We would agree to play a third game in a week, we just have to be careful about how we do it, how much travel."<-

Despite what all the people who are too scared to play a game without Bouk will tell you, UConn is not doing itself any favors missing so many games. Biggest thing putting our NCAAT chances in jepordary is our schedule, or lack thereof.
Aren't these covid breaks out of UConns hands?

Some, but they choose not to schedule games early in the year when games like NC State and Vandy were cancelled and they could have easily added games. Butler is playing today, not sure whose hands it is in not to play tomorrow, but UConn is presumably part of it.

Has any "official" of the league or UConn stated why Butler played today but we cannot play until the end of next week?
Is it the State of CT?
Lots of teams seem to be fine with quarantining a player or couple of players while the rest of their team plays.

I don't understand that one either. It makes zero sense but than again some teams play and others have games taken away without having a positive individual. It makes no sense

I am not sure how Uconn and Nova can find make up dates but St John's and Uconn have the 8th or 18th that can work for them both. Nova and Uconn would have to move other teams around to make a rescheduled game work

Games need to be made up ASAP to at least get to the minimum number of 13 to qualify for the tourney. I realize we're only 2 away from that, but 1 COVID pause in early February puts that in significant jeopardy.
