Hawkins made shots last 3 minutes, when we were desperate. Hurley hasn’t said to him that he should be a number 1 offensive option when out there and aggressively look to score. How do we know that? Because when he gets the ball he defers to everyone else. This is on Hurley.

Hawkins is an elite shooter but literally can’t do anything else well. At least not yet.

Hawkins can be that guy if Hurley doesn't have such a tight leash when he makes a bone headed turnover. He needs to be able to play through them so he can develop his game. He also had a nice drive and dish to I think it was Whaley for a basket. So his game isn't all about the 3.

We have several guys that can conceivably shoot. They probably fill it up in practice. Lol. But whether they are all just mentally weak or because Hurley sets some kind of tone that makes the entire team nervous and panicky, it doesn’t added up.
