Maybe he didn’t like when williard whined when UConn came back to the big east.….and then ran awayReporters don't usually rip coaches like that.
That’s their jobReporters don't usually rip coaches like that.
No it’s not. They don’t care about basketball and only want to care about football.Maryland is definitely a top notch CBB destination. Great recruiting grounds, beautiful campus, huge undergrad population and as the state flagship a fairly big brand. But like many schools from this region, it elected to chase the almighty dollar over athletic success and become the Big Ten's useful idiot.
Poorly kept secret breaks in middle of the night?
Excellent!!!Get over it. It's been 14 years. Maybe you should try reading one of the Dalai Lama's books. One cannot gain true happiness by reveling in the sorrow of others.
I wouldn't go quite as far as best job, but the premise of this tweet is accurateI really haven't followed this. Why would he leave a Big Ten job for a Nova?
Queen is going to the NBA as a lottery pick.Maybe he’ll bring Queen with him to the Big East. We can then watch this young man travel all year. I know he traveled on the winning shot prior to their loss and it wasn’t called. But in his next game in which I watched more of that the refs missed at least 4-5 more from him this kid uses the three step non euro more than anyone!

Villanova got their plan A.No it’s not. They don’t care about basketball and only want to care about football.
Football is by far the first consideration but they will be opening a new state of the art basketball specific practice facility next year akin to the Werth Champions center. No it’s not. They don’t care about basketball and only want to care about football.
That was a very good team though, certainly more than just Blake. Off the top of my head, Juan Dixon and Lonny Baxter were very good. No shame in that loss.2002 Maryland games will stick in my head forever. Caron had a second half for the ages and then when the game was pretty much over he had that crazy one-handed rim rocking dunk to end his career. We scame up short to steve freaking Blake —-unbelievable
Every UConn loss in the NCAAT feels lousy and they feel worse the closer they get to the Final Four since that was the major hurdle in the 90s before 1999. But that loss did not sting nearly as much. UConn didn't play poorly or scared, they played well. Maryland played better. I remember thinking on that day, if UConn made 100 good plays, however you want to define "good plays" (made baskets, drawing fouls, creating TOs, deflections, good picks, etc), Maryland made 102 that game. UConn lost to the better team that day. That was a very good team though, certainly more than just Blake. Off the top of my head, Juan Dixon and Lonny Baxter were very good. No shame in that loss.
And his traveling problem will disappear.Queen is going to the NBA as a lottery pick.

That was game was a prime example of the automatic sit-with-two-fouls-for-the-rest-of-the-half rule coming back to bite them. Man did Maryland really screw up here. And excellent job by Nova — nova must be very very committed to winning.
