I couldn't read it either. Not willing to pay to read an article online for the Courant.

Google " Shea Ralph future" - article should come up on page one and you can open it without the sign up or we blow you up thing. It's a good read.

This is a hoot, Eric, three of us came to your rescue in the same minute!

Good little article. Shea and Jen both basically in the same boat - very comfortable where they are at this time in life, and both willing to contemplate changes sometime in the future when the right opportunity presents itself. I suspect Shea, without children to consider is more open to change in the short term.

I liked Shea saying after UConn there is no more pressured head job she could have than the pressured assistant job she has now! She used more words, but that was what she said.

My prediction: the North Carolina job opens up and Shea takes it. From there?

Good point with the kids business; I thought the same. But tell me, how do you know if a coach is UConn-ready? Jen has been a head coach and has worked with Geno on the national team, so should we assume she has the upper hand between the two? Geno was an assistant before coming to UConn, wasn't he?

May be right. I read her whole "interview" as her telling the head hunter or AD who calls: "I have a pinch me job that pays well and made me tough and knowledgeable, so dazzle me with your program and the Benjamins and we'll see. I have no plans past tomorrow."

Rocky, you can register to read the Courant at no cost. Need your email and a password.

I have. About 6 months ago. Many times it doesn't work. It's software used by many newspaper, so I do not get it. I also get the daily newsletter in my e-mail and if the article is it in, straight through, no problem. I have found it less annoying to go straight to the methods advanced by several above. But, thanks huskyd.

Yes he was. 2 different programs - last stop Virginia I believe. Muffet and Geno worked together in one of the two - I think it's time for my medicine and a nap!

I registered some time ago and it didn't work today. But the suggestion to google Courant and Ralph worked.

Muffet actually took over the Philly job after Geno so they never worked on the same staff.
And the Uconn job that Geno got was not the Uconn job that the next HC will get - you hire just about anyone for a team that has had one winning season in its history and plays in a leaky WWII surplus type building. You take just a little bit more care with a hire for a team with 10 NCs and counting.

I think it's only five articles a months or so though.

Quibble, quibble, quibble ... UcM what is up... an early hurricane? I just remembered Geno, Muffet et al photo and Geno with the ND Sweatshirt on and took a flyer, plus I was up late last night, and had an early morning rescue that involved taking two grandkids to school in the dark, plus I stubbed my toe and got a lot less caffeine this morning as a result.

My prediction: That wont happen

'Cuz Shea wont it not? Or cuz, well, let's see, she can do better than pick up a shattered program that has an odor that will linger? I heard the above about the Benjamins aren't there. Don't be so enigmatic triad. Expound. Pretend you are in the Dookie student jeering section and let it all out. BTW, I agree. She wouldn't be caught dead there.
