Shea Ralph's Remarks on Geno's Record

Coach Ralph was asked about Geno's record after her team's game last night, and I thought UConn fans would enjoy her remarks. At the end, a Vandy staffer tells coach that she was a part of 626 of Geno's wins, which seemed to startle her...lol. Earlier in the press conference, Shea noted she had coached at the Disney World of college basketball while talking about Vandy's freshman star Mikayla Blakes. She said she didn't want to compare Blakes to the great players she coached for the Huskies except that she has all the intangible traits those players had.

You can tell why she was so successful in recruiting players for UConn. If I were a prospect listening to this, I would be all over UConn - with Vanderbilt as a fall back.
