Wow, the daughter really looks like both of them. She's a very cute kid.

I exchanged emails with Shea back in the day. I wanted to let her know that she was my all-time favorite UConn player. She was shocked and very appreciative of the sentiment. I was shocked she was shocked. There were a few players that really appealed to me over the years but Shea was different and special. I hated what she had to go through as a player but life is like that. I have only found one other player that comes close to Shea in my eyes and that player is KK Arnold.

Shea was asked when she took the job at Vandy about playing UConn. Her reply was that when she thought that her team was ready that she would make the call to Geno.

She was terrific with the fans. I can remember her spending what seemed like inordinate amount of time talking with my daughter before one game. She was really sincere and friendly.
