UConn can’t avoid every good team. The Huskies are going to have either Vandy or LSU as the #2 in their region. Which would you prefer?
For sure. Sometimes I'll watch a whole docket of games, like last Sunday, and I basically root for nobody. Everybody can't lose. Ole Miss has interested me as well as Tennessee and whatever the heck is going on there, like watching a train wreck.
I'm reminding myself that "greatness" is often judged by the circumstances. Great presidents do great things in the most trying of conditions. Great teams play great games against great rivals. Boxing greats have competition from other great boxers, producing legendary encounters. Ali had Frazier, Leonard had Hearns, Duran, and Hagler.
I like 30 point wins but wouldn't it be more fun to play what they used to call, "instant classics".

LSU held their own against SC at SC, Vandy showed their weakness (shut down Blakes) against Ole Miss, who lost handily to TX. Consequently I would choose to play Vandy, knowing that they rely on two small guards (Blakes and Galvin) to run the offense and two inside forwards (Pissott and Washington) to rebound. They have got to be spent physically and have little bench support, unlike UConn who can play an 8 or 9 man rotation all day long.

LSU!
Yea, there’s an argument to be made that UConn would have an easier matchup vs LSU rather than Vandy. LSU can play sloppy and out of control. UConn’s pressure defense might turn them over 30 times.

Shea will learn from this and prep her team for the NCAAT
