She wants to be a head coach in the NBA!

The link is to an article in today's Boston Globe. She just completed a stint as assistant coach
for the Clippers summer league team. Doc Rivers is giving her a chance to add to the resume.
I suspect this will be a long time coming for any woman no matter how qualified.

IMO: I think it more realistic to have a woman coach a major conference basketball
team in college men's hoops...hopefully in the near future.

I am almost positive that many years ago Pat of LadyVol fame turned down an offer
to coach the men's team at Tenn. Maybe a visitor from that fan base can confirm or deny.
