Geno and CD won't be coaching anymore by the time she would reach college. She may be the first 6' 10" player in women's BB. Surely she will grow another 3"'s in 3-4 more years. May Catherine want to come to Uconn. She would be a stand out with Geno's and CD's coaching.
But her crossover needs a lot of work!
Margo Dydek was 7'2".She may be the first 6' 10" player in women's BB. Surely she will grow another 3"'s in 3-4 more years. May Catherine want to come to Uconn. She would be a stand out with Geno's and CD's coaching.
There was a 6-10 kid at Georgetown tooMargo Dydek was 7'2".
It doesn’t matter. Head coach Jeff Walz (Louisville) offered her 2 years ago and probably has the inside track.Geno and CD won't be coaching anymore by the time she would reach college.

No, her body has yet to grow into her legs! I hope she hasn't been teased to death. And she's yet to grow into her body from the looks of it. WOW.
Just to pile on... Bernadette Hatar of the CT Sun is 6'10 also. She may be the first 6' 10" player in women's BB. Surely she will grow another 3"'s in 3-4 more years. May Catherine want to come to Uconn. She would be a stand out with Geno's and CD's coaching.
And God forbid she eventually ends up at Stony Brook University. What a waste that would be. (FYI 2 of my kids graduated from Stony Brook. At the time the out of state rate for Stony Brook was about the same as the in state rate for UConn.)Stony Brook? Wonder if she will...somehow...wind up at Christ The King...national
program...great schedule?
Being tall doesn’t always someone will be a great basketball player. Suzy Bendegue, the 6-10 player from Georgetown, averaged 2.2 points, 1.9 rebounds, and .7 blocks a game in the 2 years she played. Bendegue’s teammate, 6-3 Rebekah Brunson, was a vastly superior player that had a long and distinguished career in the WNBA.And God forbid she eventually ends up at Stony Brook University. What a waste that would be. (FYI 2 of my kids graduated from Stony Brook. At the time the out of state rate for Stony Brook was about the same as the in state rate for UConn.)
Stony Brook has been investing in their sports programs, so you never know. Stranger things have happened. And God forbid she eventually ends up at Stony Brook University. What a waste that would be.
