Good win over ranked Xavier just now. Coming off wins against ranked seton hall and Nova. The Big East got so lucky Texas ran that man off. He’s turned Marquette into an at large team already. This league has a solid amount of high end coaching talent.

Also a great win on the road for UConn.

Shaka was never a good fit at Texas for whatever reason, but everyone knows the dude can coach his butt off. Excited for the future of the BE.

If they could’ve held on to Dawson Garcia, they would’ve been a serious threat at the top of the BE this year.
That dude can ball, I saw him at Mohegan a few weeks ago for UNC Purdue. It’s a shame Marquette couldn’t keep him. He’s not in a great situation at UNC it seems, unfortunately.

He has to go to classes now?

it shows why Texas will never win it all. It’s a foosball school

Not sure Marquette gets ranked this week. They probably deserve it, but there were 39 teams who received votes last week and they weren't one of them. That would be a huge jump to make

If I remember it right, Smart really wanted the UConn job after Calhoun.
Yeah, I think about that from time to time. What if we had picked smart rather than Ollie? Do we have one less national championship? Is Smart still the coach here and we miss out on Hurley?

Marquette has 6 Quad 1 wins, only Baylor has more. They have played themselves solidly in the tourney field as an at-large.
