shadiest recruitments of the past decade...

There's a universally understood code of silence among college coaches. No coach is ever going to rat out another coach on the record. Rick Pitino probably knows every single skeleton in Calipari's closet and, as much as it kills him, he's never going to say a word to the NCAA.

Now, if you give coaches the chance to speak with complete anonymity, they'll be more than happy to spill the beans. These polls confirm two things: 1) the programs that we already know are dirty, are dirty, and 2) in all likelihood, they'll never get caught.

Interesting that 3 recent SJU commits ended up on a list of dirtiest recruitment's in the last 10 years.

The real question is which 100 coaches did they talk to. Directional U's might well be outside looking in.

Seems like coaches only said the most recent ones. The question is the last ten years and the oldest guys are from 2007.

This is the worst kind of link bait reporting.

Maybe some of those were dirty, maybe they weren't - all we know for sure is that CBS has no actual proof and they've gone ahead and tagged 25 kids anyway.

Those articles are message-board quality reporting.

Openly speculating that Kyle Anderson had a sketchy recruitment because he went cross country to UCLA, when I don't believe there were even whispers of improprieties is as classless as it gets.

They asked for the past 10 years, but if I'm not mistaken all of those players listed are from the past 3-4 years?

It really is just the rumors you hear on message boards. Do I think most of the recruitments mentioned were dirty in some kind of way? Most likely is it right for a site like cbs to report, no.

Jevon Thomas is a guard who was committed to Dayton. Your telling me a guy going to University of Dayton had one of the worst recruitments in the last ten years? wow.

No. What the NCAA did to Boatright last winter is as classless as it gets. This is reasonably close however.

I don't really think that SJU is a really dirty school. I can understand a few of the UCLA cases, but the people at CBS need to get a life. We all know the squid is cheating, but what's new?

Wow! As much as I hate UK, have you ever seen an article that throws this many people under the bus based on such little substance?

That article should never have seen the light of day.

What garbage. Shame on CBS Sports for this trash.

Agree. I am surprised that this was printed. Allegations and high brow reporting. It shames the kids more than the coaches.

What's the intent of the article?
