With our PG woes can someone tell me why we don't try the ultra athletic lineup of:

Ball - Stewart/Ross - McNeeley - Karaban - Reed

It's been our best 5 players. Not having sound PG play is going to doom this year. There is still time for improvement but it does need to happen sooner rather than later.

Mahaney seems overwhelmed by the jump in competition. Diarra was a turnover machine in the first half. Johnson has trouble catching and finishing anything that isn't a dunk. It's been 5 games and this is a real problem.

Not off of one loss, sends the wrong message and risks losing the guy.

That said, I'd be stunned if Johnson is still starting by the Baylor/Gonzaga/Texas gauntlet.

We’ll see. Hurley doesn’t change quickly. Wouldn’t surprise to see Johnson starting.

Yup. The gap in talent has to be clear as day in practice and yet he’s continued to roll him out there as a starter. He’s managing something here, I think. I will be pleasantly surprised if Tarris starts.

Amongst other things Samson lost the tip yesterday. Not a big deal but for a guy thats springy and long you’d think that would be a strength. Very small tone setter.
