Is Shabazz injured or simply buried on the bench? I dont follow the NBA closely, but I follow our guys. Looks like he hasnt played the past couple games. Thanks.

I've said this in threads about Jalen, Boatright and others and it applies to Shabazz as well: The point guard position is so stacked that to even be on an NBA roster you have to be one of the best 100 players in the entire world. Shabazz is always going to have to struggle to hang on in the NBA, even when he was in a good situation and playing a lot like last year. Plus, if the level of play is close, many teams will go with developing a younger guy. Shabazz is 27.

Don't understand the tweet. This Rodions guy is a 6'9" tweener SF/PF. Doesn't play anywhere near Bazz's position--unless they mean the Nets are no longer playing 2 PGs on the floor.

He would be getting 20 minutes a night if he was in Orlando, Phoenix, or Chicago.

Bazz has played ok with Nets but his FG% is .377 so might be a factor and 3 guards ahead of him all getting major minutes. He'll probably make way back into rotation at some point but doubt will be consistent mins.

I think he can still be a good bench rotation player but better off on good veteran team than young bad team looking to develop players. Bazz is what he is in NBA....a nice spark off the bench for a few stretches a game.
