I guess we over reacted to one bad game. He dominated most of the games we won in all around play. Also, most coaches realize that Bazz is our team. If he wasn't playing, we weren't winning....

I think this is reverse mojo, since our stars usually get snubbed.

That's a pleasant surprise!

Let's get reverse mojo going, then.

Not sure I have ever been happier for one player. Shabazz deserves every accolade he receives. One day we will look back at UConn basketball history and realize what an important bridge he was by sticking it out. Thanks Bazz!

Richard Hamilton won conference POY in 1999.
Emeka Okafor won conference POY in 2004.
Kemba Walker...oh, jesus. Fv¢king Hansborough.

But whatever. We won all sorts of conference awards on our way to winning things. 2011-2013 be damned.

Wow, I'll eat some major crow here. I didn't think he had much of a chance but I'm very happy he won it.

very happy for him, after last year and the media blackout he had to endure I'm glad to see him being recognized this year.

Geesh, I wanted it to be a surprise when I'm watching the awards being given out.

Any of the three could have been chosen, but good for Napier, he deserves it.
