And look for his shot. Yeah it's nice to get everyone involved but he's not even looking for his shot.

He had 3 players on him especially at the 3, so who can he distribute to inside?

I was coming here to post the same thing. Shabazz needs to be a lot more selfish and look to score right from the start. He is clearly our best player and he needs to act like that for 40 mins. Kemba wasnt scared to take the entire game over...

It does seem like we were playing better when Shabazz was trying to put up 40 every game. Normally I wouldn't think that's a good thing, but maybe it took the pressure off the other guys.

He was doubled the entire game and threw nice passes to the open big guy who more often than not whiffed on the catch. He didn't have his best game but this loss is not on Bazz

While I'm on that topic what's with the bigs catching (when they catch) pausing waiting for 3 defenders to collapse taking a dribble where more than likely the ball is knocked away before they go up. If you're open just go up with it!

Teams have figured us out. Take away Bazz (double team), take Giff out (man him up every position) and see if the others can beat you.

Ollie needs to make some adjustments, I don't know what type, but I don't get paid to know.

Post up Daniels on the block. Let him go one on one.

I don't think more chucking from shabazz is the answer.

Here's an idea set some screens for people who dont have the ball on offense (Giffey, Daniels, etc.)

That just about sums it up. They know the bigs are not going to do much scoring so they keep the guards in check.

Without a lowpost presence we are an easy team to defend. (Gee, ya think Larry Brown couldn't figure that out. ) And when our jump shots aren't falling we are easy to beat.

I think we've just seen what this team is like when Shabazz isn't spectacular.

Daniels is too weak to be effective like this and usually misses the shot or turns it over, so that is not a solution here.

He tries to get the ball down low as he is now blanketed, but it results in a turnover or miss. Our post players cannot catch, let alone shoot. UConn needs to recruit bigger stronger players to compete today. Skinny or undersized doesn't do it any more.

Did it ever? It's not like UConn went out and recruited a lot of skinny undersized guys to play inside over the years. Some backups sure, and some mistakes, but they've usually had some big bodies down there.

If anyone still thinks Daniels will be leaving for the pros, they are crazy. He's a lightweight in both stature and the way he plays the game. He's not physical enough to play PF (even though we need him too) and doesn't have the handle to play the wing. He's been out of sorts all year.
