Statsheet is a pretty awesome site and it's always been a fair way of grading the best players and teams.
Burke, Plumlee, Porter, Thomas, Jackson, Zeller and Franklin are all gone. This is what the rankings looked like at the end of last season:
1. Trey Burke
2. Mason Plumlee
3. Otto Porter
4. Deshaun Thomas
5. Pierre Jackson
6. Marcus Smart
7. Cody Zeller
8. Jamaal Franklin
9. Doug McDermott
10. Shabazz Napier
So from last year, Marcus Smart, Doug McDermott and Shabazz are all returning. Based on last year's grades, Shabazz is tied for being the 2nd best player in the country this year with a rating of 94.6.
To all the reporters naming Bazz to 3rd team all american or leaving him off the list- watch out. Numbers don't lie.
Other than Marcus Smart, I can't honestly think of a better returner than Shabazz. 2013-2014 awaits...
