Because we lost to Seton Hall? Tarnished? I don't think so. It was a bad loss, in conference anything can happen. We are the national champions. The target is on our backs and the refs are too. Yes! We should of not been in this.posotion to begin with, but to say that "our brand was tarnished today" is just mind boggling. And as for Donovan he's good, he's living a good life and playing well in the NBA. He would be the 1st to say that this loss does not tarnish us, it's a loss.

Seton Hall isn't just the worst team in the BE, they are legit one of the worst teams in college basketball. This one is tough to swallow and might be a season ender for all intents and purposes.

Curious to see if they bounce back vs Nova or just decide to lay down and start thinking about next year. This team and coaching staff have some serious soul searching to do.

freshman that have never won anything as opposed to a veteran team that has players that while they weren’t all major contributors have titles(early season tourney titles, reg and post season conference title, national titles).

This team is like then 2012 team off the natty they had a ton coming back from a team that won a title added a freshman phenomenon had a second year player that was expected to step up. A backup pg who was expected to step into the starters role.

I thought he would be more of a creator but he is just a shooter at this point and not a great one. He doesn't play good d against penetration which is an issue. He needs to learn something from Karaban.

We lost 4 starters and moved the guy who was 5th in our depth chart to first. We relied on two career bench guys to man our pg and center position. The pg can’t shoot and the center can’t rebound. We were overly reliant on a freshman and a bunch of sophomores who didn’t play the year before. All while having the target of b2b national champs on our back. The writing was always on the wall. This was a rebuild year. It’s clear now.

Hurley gets a pass this season. He’s more than earned that. But we need to construct a better more cohesive roster next season.

I probably always lean that way. I think the only place we differ is at the 5. I think we go into next year with a Reed/Reibe platoon. Which would mean we would need our starting 1/3/4 to be plus defenders. I think Stewart can get there. That’d leave 2 starting caliber players we need. That’d also leave us with pretty good bench in Nowell, Abraham, Mullins, Reibe, Adams.

P.s. I think Mullins will be a stud

No we are just facing facts that we lost to 1-12 Big East team who really sucks and are now going on the bubble with some big tough games ahead. Do you really have confidence in this team with a hobbled Diarra and a team that plays very erratic doing anything this year. This Seton Hall team is not even comparable to the teams we lost in past years who were borderline Tourney team. This team is one of the worst teams in major conferences. It is like losing to Colorado bad. Damn and we lost to them too. LOL!
