Inexcusable effort. Some really brain dead basketball especially by Solo.

Not just Solo. AK and Tarris too. But yea, I asked if Solo was point shaving in the chat. How is someone so careless with the basketball with under a minute to go and defenders collapsing on him from behind?

It’s important to note that, with all the terribleness that was UConn for the entire game, we still win if the officials do the job that they are hired to do.

Trying to inbounds like a 6th grade team is bad enough. Just being in that position against SHU is a complete disaster. A team that sheets the bed this badly in Feb is not good. Crazy no calls at the end too but still, what a freaking disaster.

The refs didn’t blow a ton of calls, but I can’t kill them for swallowing their whistle on the inbound to Ball with the other inbounding mishaps.

It's no Solo's fault. It's not Mcneeley's fault. It wasn't not playing reed enough. It was not the refs.

You could see this coming all season. We cannot inbounds the ball under pressure.

This is on Hurley. It's well past time we he figure this out.

I don’t see any more reason for optimism after that. Looking ahead to next season.

The staff needs to watch a lot of games the rest of the season to find a couple great point guards to portal. This season is a lost cause.

Most great people who fall do so because they believe their own hype and the eye of the tiger. Stay humble and grind.

100%. I asked if he was point shaving at the end of regulation, and it got worse.

Also, fouling up 3 is a great idea EXCEPT IF YOU CANNOT INBOUNDS THE BALL. And stop making Alex the inbounder. He has a mental block.

From my recollection in the last minute alone he had a turnover, fouled a shooter shooting 3 because he can't ever close out properly because he's always out of position, then missed the FT that would have made it a 4 point lead. Just a complete disasterclass and then the game sealing turnover to lose to top it all off.

Ball thinking he could actually dribble through there was the problem. Also Alex ignores wide open Hassan before that. Alex was not confident making any inbounding passes.
