Seton Hall is playing @ Michigan. There is approx 11 minutes left in the game and the Hall has made 3 baskets. It is shooting 3-40.

How is it possible that the coach of a gold-medal winning USA team and a WNBA champion Seattle team can not get her team to score more than 3 baskets in 29 minutes of play?

I know a national championship UConn team once scored 12 points in a half, but that was in the championship game when nerves and pressure can affect shooting. But in a early season game against Michigan? Bring back Phyllis.

I was very critical of Donavan's decision to delay starting work at SH until after the WNBA season, the year she was hired, because I felt she would miss the opportunity to recruit during that 3 - 4 month period which I though was critical.

But I thought she got some decent wins last year anyway. Donovan has to be better than Mangina,

That's a sad sight. I find myself wondering what the atmosphere must have been like in the locker room with the score 35-6 at the half. 18 to 22 year-old without much talent probably wishing they could crawl under a rock.

I shudder to think of what their meeting with UCONN will be like. I hope we get invited to the ACC. Fewer of these games on the schedule.

On a related note, Seton Hall has applied to join the America East Conference but was denied entry due to their low womens basketball scoring.

Geez when I saw the first half score I figured there had to be another Seton Hall out there, like there are more than one Loyola's or Concordia's.

Maybe UConn can loan them a few players when you play them.

There is a Seton Hill, which had me momentarily flummoxed when I read that Ferne Labati became the new head coach at Seton Hill.
