If this conference can build up their collective talent and hire coaches based on performance and not being a former basketball player of the program, the Big East has potential with it's focus being urban schools and b-ball.

Rhode Island has a big time backcourt with Sheppard and Fatts. Sheppard a big time scorer with efficiency & Fatts kind of a Boatright-lite. Bigs are playing better now and the dad-bod freshman wing does a lot of Grit and smart plays.
