After 2+ years of tribulations, it is so pleasing to see Beautiful Basketball break out on a regular basis in our team's games again.

There are still growing pains with the new members, but they're far ahead of what we had any right to expect and they show flashes of how much further they can grow. Personally, the most electrifying flashes come from Qadence showing off her Aubrey-like slashes to the cup--with those enormous, gliding strides and stretched-out, silky layups. Check out how many times she appears in the rating grid below.

Second place is a close call, but having Paige again looking like her freshman incarnation gets my vote and my smiles.

Gotta love these women.

I agree with you about Samuels. She excites the eye with speed and gracefulness and her shot is sudden. Won't be long before she explodes a defense. Thanks for the data.

The fast break layup Q made last night, off a nice feed from Nika was “Aubrey-esque!” I thought surely she would put the ball on the floor to get to the basket, but no. Just a long stride and Q was all the way to the basket for a layup and resulting foul on SH.
