@SethOnHoops: UConns Amida Brimah is a perfect example of evaluating It's not where you are it's where you are going! Will be special!

@SethOnHoops: @TopDog990411 their guard play is elite. They defend. Need to rebound and develop a front court physicality.

@SethOnHoops: UConn practices with great energy and pace. Staff is engaged No wasted time.

@SethOnHoops: UConn runs some interesting actions vs zone. Always utilizing personnel. Very good coaching Putting players in position to play 2 strengths

@SethOnHoops: Recruiting is more than signing the top 10 players. It is about evaluating the next 140.Players are over hyped! Intangibles under evaluated

This!

If we can become competent (don't need to be great) rebounding this year we can make a run for the title this season.

Gotta like that quote. Vary the sets to match the skills of your personnel.

Is Ollie 'practice' coaching NBA style, collegiate style, JC style, a mix or what? I say that because Seth was a college basketball coach and he seems to be walking away all the time really impressed with Ollie in practice. Almost as if he's never seen anything like this.

Ollie played for so many NBA coaches and that experience allows him to take the best and use it. A marginal NBA player like Ollie doesn't hang around for 13 years if he has trouble understanding offense/defense or is a pain in the butt. People like kevin Durant and Larry Brown were big supporters of Kevin for the UConn job. We are lucky to have him.
