Agree with everything he said. Larrier not being focused on just scoring on the wing is key... if his best trait is defensive versatility we’ll win a lot of games.

If we’re able to hang with an allegedly good experienced Providence team that should be miles ahead of us on the chemistry scale , it will be a good sign. We would blow them out in March as Cooley’s teams tend to peak early.
Cooley’s comment about the NBE being better than the old are funny coming from a guy who never coached against those type teams .
Heck we finished in 9th place in the conference and still won the NC
in 2011 . We never lost an out of conference game , while playing against some highly ranked teams. That team was not built for the brutality that was a conference game.
Pitt,Cinncy and maybe a couple of BE teams could have won it all that year.
The NBE is a nice little B.B. conference the old BE was a monster.
