Notre Dame will end up being the second-best Big East team behind Louisville. The Irish have great balance and experience, they have a plethora of terrific shooters, and they can beat good teams on the run or in the halfcourt. They also have one of the most underrated players in the country in junior point guard Eric Atkins.

They don't have enough team speed to be second best in the Big East. A good team for sure, but not likely to get out of the Sweet Sixteen, if they make it there.

Oy vey. You're looking at them in one game, as you know. Having watched a bunch of their games this season, they've got weapons that they don't typically have. They're a very good team. I don't know why you think "UConn should have blown them out of the water." You have your pick of UConn games this season where someone choosing to watch only one game would walk away thinking UConn was a pretty ****** team. I see nothing wrong with what Seth Davis said.
