Congrats to the Iggles. Great game. Two TDs for them that if they were for the Pats you’d be hearing about how it was fixed for New England but they do deserve the win. Pats played like poopy.

Great game, regardless. Doubt football is going to die out. Could not believe that fumble. The game was ours for the taking.

They've managed to turn the outdoor ball game into arena league yardage and scoring.

The Pats lost because they have no defense, their kicking game was horrendous, and a very bad ref call on that first controversial touchdown.

Brady was sensational (505 yards, 3 TD's, 0 int's).

The Patriots lost because Belichick got undressed in the first half and the Eagles kept fighting when New England rolled by them in the second half. And Brady dropped a football.

It was a ridiculously entertaining game.

Love or hate the Patriots, they always deliver great theater in the Super Bowl.

Oh stop. They were only in the game by the grace of some atrocious calls in the AFC championship game that all went their way and oh btw, in the AFC championship game and superbowl they combined for two penalties for 15 yards.....

Patricia's defense had no answers all night and Malcolm Butler DNP coaches decision as #25 Rowe got killed all night. Strange. Oh well. Let's go Mets.

Yeah I'm curious if we'll find out more on that decision. Agholor was having his way in the slot against their fourth-string guy.

Where was the defense? Both QB had hours to sit in the pocket and throw. I could have throw a couple of TDs behind the protection those QBs got. And I'm in my 60s.

Butler's defense this postseason consisted mainly of getting beat and complaining to the officials. He wouldn't have fixed anything.

I’ve never seen a team get away with as much defensive PI as the Pats do. At least 3 missed calls that would’ve been huge.

That Van Noy PI on the 2 point conversion was obvious... It was like the refs did a make up call on the also obvious Ertz TD pass play... Total joke....

That one and the deep ball to Jeffrey that he could only go up for with one arm because Gilmore had an arm bar on the other one.

Neither team got any specific benefit. What I noticed was that the refs swallowed their whistles in general. Zero offensive holding calls, on a night when there were probably 50. You want to know why the defenses couldn't stop anything, that's the main reason. They let the guys in the secondary get away with a lot too, except holding. Several no calls on both teams.

You can’t breathe on Amendola or Cooks on deep balls. They get the flag every single time.

 yeah. That's it. The helmet to helmet (uncalled) was just breathing.

The one on Cooks where he turned into Jenkins who lowered his shoulder into his chest? That also had nothing to do with PI.

But your tears are delicious.

As it turns out, they lost because Butler missed some meetings the week of the Super Bowl and was caught with marijuana in his hotel room the day before the game. He wasn't allowed to play and the defense was out of position all game.

Then why play him at all send him home. He was still in uniform and played special teams what kind of message does that send. You have guys consoling Butler when their heads should be into the game, and did the team even know about Butler not playing before hand. The pats just had too many distractions and this was just one of them that we didnt know about. BB seemed to lack communication with his team while the Eagles were all on the same page.

I agree completely.

Butler had a good three year run with the Pats. Too bad he had to have a meltdown the day before the Super Bowl. The Pats would have won.

But the Eagles played a near perfect game with a backup QB. They deserve the trophy. They were the best this year.
