I know this should be on Conf Alignment Section but if this happens Football should go Independent and we should crawl back to the Big East and beg or Uconn Hoops will eventually die. Hate to be pessimist but we can barely survive with Cincy and Memphis in this mess of a Conference

Say this on the football board and you'll be tarred and feathered. #BelieveinDiaco

Football can't go independent because they won't have a schedule.

So what do you do with football if you join the BE?

As much as this conference sucks, it's where P5 schools are looking for any expansion. There are better programs than Memphis (BYU, Boise, etc.) that would be more deserving of spots than them, but this conference is the only place to be to get serious consideration.

The conference has markets, big schools, and its located in the central south/southwest. It ticks off 3 things the B12 would be interested in. Despite all this, it's bad at sports. And being bad at sports doesn't seem to matter a lot anymore.
