Serah !!

Who would have thought that Serah would get drafted ahead of Beers who missed out on a real opportunity of not only getting drafted but, also going to the FF twice and winning a NC. If only she had chosen UConn. I am so happy that Serah gets another opportunity to showcase her talent and prove she belongs in the WNBA.

And Beers ended up in Connecticut anyway....

It’s interesting that league GMs saw more potential in Serah than in Regan.

Despite all of the fans criticism of Serah I think that she had so much more talent to offer the team than she displayed.
At the very beginning of the season she was playing like a house was on fire.
IDK what happened, I can only fathom that perhaps it's the UConn system that stymies some of the individual talents of some players.
And that once Geno puts them into a box and pigeon holes (oe constrains/ limits) them then they never return to play to their glorious potential.
Hopefully it will be "All's well that ends well" for Serah in the WNBA.

Ummm. Her visit to UConn reportedly went badly, not because of anything UConn did. For various reasons, she wasn’t the answer for the Huskies.

Serah wasn't used properly at Uconn for some reason? Yet, she gave her all.
I expect that she will do better in the W assuming that she is slotted in the
right position. IMO she could develop into a good Power Forward. And she
has good to great speed down the floor.

I am happy for Serah and like others have said. I hope that she is able to land a spot and get some decent minutes in the W. As for her fitting or not fitting with the UConn team this past season, she did well and hopefully she will have a decent professional career.
