Remember when we were told by Aresco what a great addition the Shockers were going to be to the conference?

Once again, Aresco's expansion choices prove to be a joke.

Instead of adding value to the basketball side of the conference they have become nothing more than another mouth to feed

They add Teddy Allen next year and Chandler and Midtgaard are two freshman bigs with promise who just started getting substantial minutes. I’m not worried about them as long as Marshall is there.

They go to the NCAA MM 8 years in a row ... ooops, they won’t make number 9. They suck.

Great coach. Full throated capacity fan base. I’m not sure what we are doing strategically in the AAC- for instance, certainly makes sense for UCONN to have close peers - but the Shockers are not a bad thumb

Wichita St. has 1 down year after being like a 4 seed in the tournament in March and they are suddenly a bad addition to the conference. What does that make us?

They might be a bad addition, but it isn't because they're a terrible basketball team or program as it is.

They also bring in a solid recruiting class.

You have to remember they lost like their top 8 scorers from last year to graduation, the NBA and transfer. And their top recruit when Penny got hired at Memphis.

Oh cool, just before the Saturday game.....we know where to look if UConn loses that one.

In other words, this couldn't have waited till after the game on Saturday if UConn turns out winning??? Hope they win so we don't have to worry about this being a bad look. But at 41-43 over the past 2.5 years UConn is in absolutely no position to point fingers at any conference members or make demands about how they should be performing. UConn has to clean up their own act first.

Even with so many new guys this year, they’ve beaten Providence, Baylor, and UCF (at home)... and put a scare into Mick Cronin.
They are just very inconsistent.

Wichita has like 8 Freshmen. No one thought they'd be a post-season team this season. As long as they keep Marshall, they'll be a quality member more years than not.

They are a power mid major in their 1st down year in a while. We are a former Nat’l power on a continual spiral downward. We’re gonna be the lady ODU of men’s hoop soon.

WSU has been flat out really good and this was to be a building year for them - give them a break
Wonder what the other teams think about UConn?

Like we were the last couple of years? They will be back. Marshall is too good. They graduated their whole team last year or lost them to the NBA.
