Is anyone watching this game? The west coast huskies are making Stanford look like UCONN offensively. McCaffrey has something like 20 yards rushing with 5 minutes left in the 3rd.

I for one am no one, but the adopted Huskies flat out whooped the Tree. So bad, no one switched to and continues watching the better Toledo-BYU game.

Diaco is trying to run the same system as the Tree without the talent at running back or really nearly the overall talent the Tree has (per recruiting rating at least). Bend don't break defense like the Tree doesn't work against effective passing game, you need pressure on QB like Washington has. Run blitz with tight coverage makes an ok offense like the Tree look real bad. Tree had injuries to secondary but solution of playing off receivers just does not work at college level.
Houston game made me optimistic re was wondering why nothing worked for UConn offense 1st 4 games (not really but in normal offense 1st quarter really nothing did work) but scheme in Houston game showed defense does in fact give up something to stop run and short passes - one on one to outside receivers and flanker slants but BS just doesn't hit them often enough.
