Semi-OT: UConn now has 22 national team championships

The rest of women's basketball should forfeit the season. Still don't understand how they didn't win it last season though.

For the same reason they almost last to Tulane, they were very good but not unbeatable.

Mods, can we create a Women’s Field Hockey board. Then move this post to it?
Could have just asked Mods to remove "Semi-" and then you could Ignore Thread. A bit more work for you, but easier for Mods.

that should read 23, not 22

;)

Funny how Uconn has way more championships than many P5 teams who got invited over them. Oh well, just keep winning regardless of where they are!

It's 23 but only 22 of them are NCAA. People forget about the 1948 Men's Soccer Team

The 1948 UConn men's soccer team, under head coach John Squires, posted a perfect 11-0 record and was named the national champion by the National Soccer Coaches Association of America.

Linky
