In case you missed it, the FIBA Women's World Cup will be held in Sydney, Australia, on Sept. 23-Oct. 3, 2022. The venues will be arenas at Olympic Park, a short train ride from downtown. It's a fabulous, fabulous city. Hopefully, the pandemic will be a thing of the past by then. The Aussies are likely a 2 seed. Mark your calendars! At least a few of us were in Istanbul in 2014 and Tenerife in 2018. I haven’t been in Sydney in 20 years and am eager to go back. We have Stewie, and no one else does.
