This is one of the fairer NCAA brackets in recent years. Missouri was the only bad pick, and there was not an alternative that was clearly better.
Dude, she is married to a dude and has two adult daughters. Let’s only spit facts here, please.Val doesn’t even talk to her wife.
Dude. Look past Furman. C'mon. It’s a joke. If we can’t be Furman, the issues run deep.
Knowing our luck I’m sure they’ll hit 15 threesThat doesn't sound like an amazing matchup for us as 15 seeds go. They just need their lead guard to beat Mullins and Ball, and to hit an unusually good percentage from 3, while using their size to bottle up (or foul) Reed.
Not likely, but doable for them. High variance.
They can complain about the top two being in the same region. They got hosed there. Takes away a potential Final 4 team. The Conference has been crap all year. If there is a year that the Big East cannot complain, this is the one.
Has Mick ever over performed in the dance? He always picks against us. It's a good sign.
Only problem I have is Mick Cronin mucking things up.
I think he made an elite 8 with that Jamie Jaquez team?Has Mick ever over performed in the dance?
Disrespect deservedWow, called it, and St. John's the 5, massive disrespect for the Big East.
YesHas Mick ever over performed in the dance?
The trade off is we stay East for both rounds potentially. We were #6 overall, and we get #1 and #9 overall with us. Awful.
It's a great sign.Of course Seth just picked UCLA to beat us.
I hope they win until they meet us again. The real SJU will show up and lose to Kansas probably
unhappy about what?Duke fans are not happy right now. I would not be stunned if TCU knocked them off due to injuries.
And you know that's why they did it. It's all about eyeballs.Sucks that Miami OH didn't get in outright but that play-in game will have a ton of attention
Villanova was also there. I was there as well and I followed team to Washington D.C.Last time saw 2006 UConn vs Kentucky in Philly for 2nd round. We didn't have too many fans
Completely agree this……this is as good a road to the E8 as we could have asked for. Frankly, as a 1 or 2. Up to us now.Looking at our bracket, this is probably the best we could have hoped for.
2 seed in the East.
UCF/UCLA in R of 32.
If we make it to the S16, a Michigan State team we handled easily in an exhibition.
Likely facing an injured Duke if we make the Elite Eight.
I'll take it.
The Boozer vs Zuby matchup will be interesting.St. Johns will find out quickly how different officiating is against Duke, in the tournament.
Michigan St is the strongest of the 3 seeds. Certainly stronger than Virginia and Gonzaga.Completely agree this……this is as good a food to the E8 as we could have asked for. Frankly, as a 1 or 2. Up to us now.
100% yes - StJ would be their nightmare. Zubi has to get through Bidunga first, but will be motivated against former school. The Boozer vs Zuby matchup will be interesting.
Could the loss of Dook's PG Foster be an issue facing the Johnny's pressure?
Regardless, it will be an interesting matchup.
St. John’s needs to get through Northern Iowa first. The MVC champ is notoriously difficult.100% yes - StJ would be their nightmare. Zubi has to get through Bidunga first, but will be motivated against former school.
Probably the lone exception. Made no difference for SJU, Vandy, Arkansas, UConn etc.For Purdue it made the difference
I'd give it to Illinois - higher upside.Michigan St is the strongest of the 3 seeds. Certainly stronger than Virginia and Gonzaga.
