That doesn't sound like an amazing matchup for us as 15 seeds go. They just need their lead guard to beat Mullins and Ball, and to hit an unusually good percentage from 3, while using their size to bottle up (or foul) Reed.

Not likely, but doable for them. High variance.

The Conference has been crap all year. If there is a year that the Big East cannot complain, this is the one.

They can complain about the top two being in the same region. They got hosed there. Takes away a potential Final 4 team.

Looking at our bracket, this is probably the best we could have hoped for.

2 seed in the East.
UCF/UCLA in R of 32.
If we make it to the S16, a Michigan State team we handled easily in an exhibition.
Likely facing an injured Duke if we make the Elite Eight.

St. John’s needs to get through Northern Iowa first. The MVC champ is notoriously difficult.

Kansas probably beats SJU if they are motivated. There isn't an athleticism gap there. Plus, I'd take their guards over SJU.

UCF is a solid team. Far from a guarantee that UCLA beats them, especially given that they’re banged up
