And FGC and Temple. They are a shell of last year's team. Everything is on Davis's back.
Bad losses, but look at their wins and their competitiveness. They went toe-to-toe with Texas A&M, Arizona, Illinois. They did well in their conference as well. This is a much better team than their supposed #32 ranking.

only thing i'd worry about with uconn is kind of like houston in the aac, they've only played one or two real games since conference play started

i still think you should be fine huskie bros, maybe one bad half or so but you'll overcome it.
You're a joke. The Big East is the second toughest conference overall. The idea that UConn wasn't tested playing in the Big East is incredibly dumb

.-.
They’re getting universally panned on CBS and ESPN and all over the internet. Not just me, guy. Please tell me how UNC deserved that bracket over UConn.

Posts and comments like yours assume this plays out to chalk. And it never ever ever does. Two days in your bracket will be an abstract art piece of red x’s and this conversation will be even more meaningless than it is right now, guy.

at the beginning of the year. They played poorly in conference, especially late.

Committee chair cites bracketing principles as why UConn got tough road. I know it's true for Iowa St. I didn't go far enough down to see if it held for having to get Illinois and/or Auburn.

.-.
Truth is we get one more tough game than we would have had (Auburn) in the S16. As seeded, we should have had Bama or Duke.

Chair just said it was based on distance, LOL.

Are you listening to this bull crap from the selection committee chair? He said Connecticut got to choose its location, and then after that they went strictly by mileage?

Dr McClelland just said UConn's tough bracket is self inflicted because apparently UConn had the choice to pick a region.

.-.
They're blaming UConn for choosing the East then them having to slot the seeds by mileage. Parity is within 5 of the other brackets.
Yeah but that's adding the sum of the seeds so you can top load a bracket and then bottom loaded as well and still have "parity."

You should take it up with Jay bilas and his co hosts on espn. But they probably don’t know anything either. The facts are that ALL of the pundits I’ve seen say UConn has the hardest bracket. Which by definition should not be the case if you’re the overall number 1 seed. Not balanced. Nope.

WTH is the committee head talking about that they placed the teams in UConn's bracket who were closest to Brooklyn in terms of mileage.

Good god man, find a map.

Iowa St. is not closer than Tennessee
Illinois is not closer than Kentucky
Auburn is not closer than Duke

Find a damn map
