The line opened at Pitt-9.5. Granted the oddsmakers have been a bit off on UConn all year long, but I can't imagine they'd set the line like that if they think Shabazz is going to play.

I dunno - Pitt was favored by 10.5 over Marquette last weekend, which was even stranger. The main factor at play here is Vegas doesn't seem to have a ton of respect for UConn.

Pitt was coming off a blowout win at Georgetown before that game. But Vegas does seem to be really high on Pitt.

Yeah, you're probably right in that they're more high on Pitt than down on UConn. It would be something if Ollie and the boys could pull this off tomorrow, though. They've already pulled off two upsets in which they've been 8+ point dogs. Three only a little more than mid-way through the season would be something.

That 13 # with Missouri as a dog seems high. Without Bowers though maybe Mizzou is a complete doughnut team? Mizz lost to a good Ole Miss team by 15.

Vegas either thinks Bazz won't play or if he does the shoulder injury will limit his production. It probably pushed the line from 4 or 5 to 9.5.
Calhoun or Daniels will have to step up along with Wolf/Olander for us to win.
