The line opened at Pitt-9.5. Granted the oddsmakers have been a bit off on UConn all year long, but I can't imagine they'd set the line like that if they think Shabazz is going to play.
I dunno - Pitt was favored by 10.5 over Marquette last weekend, which was even stranger. The main factor at play here is Vegas doesn't seem to have a ton of respect for UConn.
Still 9.5, Fla. 13 over Missouri, UNC 5.5 over MD, Gonz 3 over Butler at Butler. MIchST. 2 over Ohio St. Ville 7.5 over Cuse.
Vegas either thinks Bazz won't play or if he does the shoulder injury will limit his production. It probably pushed the line from 4 or 5 to 9.5.The line opened at Pitt-9.5.
