Sedona Prince finishes college career

Received word that Oregon's 6'7" Junior Sedona Prince has a ligament damage elbow injury that would keep her out for this season. She is expected to forego her remaining college eligibility and pursue a professional career.

Oregon is very deep and talented at guard this season. Two returning All Pac12 in Paopao and Endiya Rogers. 5th year seniors Taya Hanson (from ASU) and Alise Hurst. Frosh Chance Gray and Jenna Isai (pronounced sigh) will also be seeing the floor.

But already short in the frontcourt. With Prince out, Graves is left with 6'8 Soph Philly Kyei (pronounce Chay) and 6'2" 5th Year Taylor Hosendove as one year experience "veterans". Much will be expected of Freshman 6'3" Grace Van Slooten and 6'7" Kennedy Basham.

Graves may go with a "Guard" (both Hanson and Isai are 5'11") at the 4 sometimes. Expect a lot of minutes from VanSlooten who has impressed.
Will Kyei start at the post... we will see.

VanSlooten was a nice surprise in the exhibition game tonight. Does not play like a freshman in her first college game.
