Section 104??

I am looking for a single ticket to the Nova game on the UCONN site. Most of the 1xx sections have a few single seats scattered about except for section 104. There are a bunch of tickets available in this one. Not that this is very important but is there something strange going on with section 104?

Possible reasons:

1) Not in front of the cheerleaders.
2) Diaco's hat presents an obstructed view.
3) UCONN's offense never get this far down the field.
4). The section is haunted by the ghost of Coach P's ancestors.

Curious minds want to know.

I heard we're reserving those seats for the influx of bandwagon fans on September 26th when we return to The Rent 3-0 and fresh off an upset of Missouri

Well that would line up with the other post on student ticket sales we saw today... if they are way short both are probably empty.

I've sat in 104 a bunch of times when I didn't feel like going up the stairs.

We've had seats in 104 since the Rent opened...I'm honored that some regard it as a party section. Good news is the staties no longer give us a hard time. Get some seats and stop down to rows 10 & 11.

104 is a great section. Just sit in row 18 or higher.

We went from 104 to 103. What we gained in far side view, we lost in atmosphere.

My section is a bunch of dead beats . Some stare at you when you're cheering (screaming g). Understandable as son is very loud. Can't you at least stand and clap once in a while? Only a few repeaters in this section. New people all the time.
Only for a game or two.

Daughter & son-in-law just order tickets for Thursday night. Got 4 in section 104 Row 9. I started in 103 when the RENT opened (last row). Got shifted in the 2nd 3 year cycle to 104 @ Row 12. Got moved back to 103 & been there ever since. Not much of a difference between the 5 & 20 yard lines. Both sections have good sight lines.

Out of curiosity, are there any section that have bad sight lines? Seems to me the stadium is great that way.

There is not a bad seat at The Rent! The ONLY issue is whether your in the sun during warmer days which SUCKS, or in the shaded sections when it gets cold! Other than that, your in business.

We used to be more rowdy back in the day...they paid us a few visits and told us to calm down and watch our language - especially the time the Lobos complained (they used to sit right in front of us) lol.

There are about 20 seats in the stadium that aren't good. They are on the endzones at perfect eye level with the field goal crossbar. Every football stadium has the same seats. I had seats there for a Giants game once. PIssed me off. Neck was sore by the 2nd quarter. If you ever find really cheap seats close to the field on the endzones for an NFL game, those are the seats. This is what happens when your well-intentioned wife buys tickets.
