OT: Secret scrimmage for the men...#2 !

Apparently the men had another secret scrimmage...Harvard was # 1...Rutgers was #2.
They lead us in scrimmages 2-0....though perhaps our side is just better at keeping secrets?

First exhibition game one week away....yes! Anyone know anything about the quality of this year's
Fort Hayes team? "Quality" in their own division.

Fort Hays St, located in Hays, KS has been a consistently good DII program for many years. They were 22-4 last season and are picked as the favorite to win their conference this coming season. Their biggest player is a 6’3” freshman.

While they are well coached, they will not give the Huskies much of a game. For UConn this is really about playing someone in a different uniform.

As for Ft Hays, they get an all-expense paid trip to the Mecca of WBB and a chance to tell their grandkids they once played against the BEST.

I hope they get to tour the Champions Center, much like going to the Hall Of Fame. These kids can see what big time WBB is like, plus playing at Gample would also be a thrill. Some of their heros growing up are from UConn, and what would be better than Paige Bueckers doing the tour. Now that would be something to write home about.
