We did little to establish Stef inside. We are playing too fast rather than briskly.

On the other hand Stef played tremendous inside on the defensive end.

Not at all. She has made a lot of errors tonight, too. She is, however, the one who other than lewis has made shots. She has gotten herself in trouble driving the lane more than once.

She is much better as a 2 than at the point.

Its early, but interesting how the game resembled the championship game two years ago except for our younger players.
The more senior players seem nervous and are ineffective; the kids are fearless and just better.
Tough post but its so very evident.

I wasn't but I think it was pretty obvious to those with video. Bob and Kara, of course are doing radio.

What I don't like is that we have no scoring balance. All Stanford has to do is face guard Kaleena effectively and we are done unless someone besides Bria starts hitting shots.

Caroline has obviously lost a step. She still has the heart, but this game looks a little too quick for her. Kelly Faris needs to hit some shots. They need to settle down on offense and find Stef.

Yes, we took good care of the ball for the amount of pressure but it may, also, be a sign of too many shots too quickly.

KML = A+ = duh
Dolson = B = good defense
Hartley = B- = started to come on late in the half
Stokes = B- = not bad

the rest I won't write out, but needless to say in the C and worse range
Hayes has been a disaster

Yep, some of the other players will need to step up in the 2nd half. We'll see what they're made of.

Somewhat disappointing to see that players with lots of experience are letting the big moment get to them and not settling down to play with a little more poise. I love 'em.... just sayin. It is understandable for the first 5 minutes but after that you should be able to slow things down in your mind and see the game a little more clearly, shoot in rhythm, move a little more smoothly. KML is the only one moving smoothly out there.

She is playing quick without hurrying.

Most everyone else is rushing.....
