SEC vs ACC challenge (Predictions and Discussion)

Why did SC play such a short bench? Essentially 6 deep. Were there injuries? I get that Maddy is recovering from something. Ayla only played 9 minutes and she’s the 6th woman.
 
And Texas has been playing a thin bench too. They’re winning handily but they’re only playing 7, or perhaps 6 since Cunningham has only gotten 9 mins so far.

Honestly, I've watched a bunch of ACC teams and Louisville looks like the most complete team. I'm close to putting in my bet that they win the ACC this year.

Our first player off the bench, Makeer, didn't make the trip. She was on concussion protocol. Dauda's minutes have been waning and McDaniel doesn't seem to have gained back Coach's trust after being suspended. Tac played alright but this isn't a good matchup for her. McDowell played a few good minutes but looked like a freshman and in a close game like this, the coaches weren't going to gamble.
 
It’s over. Duke teased a good result. But they are going to get blown out now.

I kind of felt like this was going to be the story after the first few minutes. Looks like LSU is on pace for another 100 point game. 😱

One point in almost five minutes, I was thinking LSU was on pace to score 8 for the game. Yeah, didn’t hold, they’re at 52 at halftime.
 
If they can avoid getting blown out, this might be Duke's best game. Have actually showed an ability to score.

Being out Kitts, Watkins and Makeer is a quick way to go from a solid 8 person rotation to only going 5 deep. I'm surprised we're not seeing more from Dauda though. She looked like a great portal pick up coming from Arkansas but hasn't been able to put it together at SC yet.

Kind of BS Mulkey told her players not to go for 100. Things like that matter to players. Let them have fun.

I wasnt implying they were equal. But that it was a moral victory for the BDs. And I think everyone thought it was all down hill after Q2. Duke actually showed some promise.

Don’t they have a bunch of McDonald’s AA. It was preseason top 10. Just poorly coached

Thanks for the newsflash. I was not aware of that.

Duke got outscored by 30 after leading by 14. At home.
 
I don’t think it is the easiest game in the world. But Duke better beat Virginia tech on Sunday.
